Tetulator: Failed

Hello,

Thanks a lot for developing such an amazing and very user-friendly CFD software!

I want to simulate flow around water turbine blade. I imported a STEP geometry to Caedium. Then I defined the physics and boundary conditions.There are 31 faces in a single flow volume. I tried to mesh the geometry but got the following error:

Warning:
volume_5 [www.4363.5]
Tetulator: Failed: Front advance failed: 68 faces remain

Followed by the following message:

[Warning:
volume_5 [www.4363.5] RANS Flow: Failed
Unexpected process exit.

--> FOAM FATAL ERROR:
Illegal cell label -1 in neighbour addressing for face 305501

From function polyMesh::initMesh()
in file
meshes/polyMesh/polyMeshInitMesh.C at line 65.

FOAM exiting
Error:
Current simulation does not contain geometry [www.4363.5]

I appreciate your help.
Thank you very much,

No rotating mesh

Currently Caedium can not simulate a rotating turbine, which requires either Moving Reference Frame (MRF) or moving mesh. However, Caedium should be able to mesh the geometry. For help on diagnosing meshing problems see "How do I fix mesh and solver failures?".

MRF now supported in Caedium

MRF is now supported in Caedium. For more details see the tutorial "Rotating Paddle using Moving Reference Frame".
