The latest Caedium release has a new Helix tool, an improved Sweep tool, improved mesh element sizing, and a couple of bug fixes.

New Features and Enhancements

• Use the Helix tool to create cylindrical or conical helices for your CFD simulations, e.g., helical strakes on a chimney [Builder]
• Use the improved Sweep tool to better maintain orientation of the source along a path [Builder]
• Better control your mesh element sizes with improved localized geometry bounding [RANS Flow|Panel Flow]

Bug Fixes

• Double-sided faces did not create shadow edges on end caps, e.g., symmetry planes [Builder]
• Windows MPI preference pointed to the old MPI installation after update
