To avoid the error "shell-init: error retrieving current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: Operation not permitted" on Mac OS X you need to give /bin/sh Full Disk Access to enable Caedium solvers and utilities to run in the background. Follow the procedure:

Fan condition error message

Hi.
I've been having some trouble implementing a fan inlet boundary condition. In trying to do so, I got the following error message:

"Warning:
Flow Volume [www.2035.5] RANS Flow: Failed
Failed to open file: 'C:\Users\Peter\AppData\Local\Temp/of-507097002/%1/constant/fanCurve-5'"

I was curious what this meant. The computer OS is Windows 10.

Panel flow over an aircraft

Hi. I'm pretty new to Caedium, and I've been having some issues trying to model the coefficient of pressure over an aircraft body, which I imported as an STL file. I based the conditions in use off the tutorials available on this website, ie. only specifying fairly limited variables air/ linear velocity/ accuracy. However, when I attempt to map the pressure coefficient I get this error:

Wavefront export problem

Import obj file is ok. But export is not correct - mesh is broken
In latest version (v2.1.1) obj export make right mesh (but have not some tools).
How can I fix this?

Doesn't recognize files on my computer

I just downloaded Caedium for Mac. I've used Rhino to export .stp and .igs files, but Caedium doesn't reconize these file formats and won't import them. What am I doing wrong.

Streamlines problem

Hello friends. I am learning how to operate with the software. My problem is that I can't seem to understand how to generate proper streamlines. Mine just go trough to the surface of any geometry I import. They look like this:

Not applying Velocity Vector Field to model, features greyed out...

Hi,I'm trying to evaluate the Ceadium software for purchase but am having trouble applying a velocity vector field from the Results panel to my model. I've tried applying to all faces of the flow volume or just a single face.

License Server Error

I try to activate my software using the fast method, i paste the correct serial number but get the error -
License Activation Failed.
License server could be busy, try again later,
or Activation License Key is invalid.
I also tried the email activation, i sent the mail with the information but did not receive any mail back.

Error encountered while subtracting volumes?

I was trying to subtract a group of volumes from a bigger volume and encountered this following error,
"Error:
Create Subtract failed.
Open Cascade failure: TopOpeBRep_EdgesIntersector : Situation Unknown M"
Please explain me about the corrective actions to be taken to avoid this error. Thank you.

I'm trying to see what your program will do, but it appears you think you've sent a key code for a 30 day trial but I don't seem to have received e-mail. I've checked blocked e-mails and can not find any evidence of e-mail. Please respond.
