Internal Passage Fluid Flow

Internal Passage Fluid Flow

Image create by Caedium and its Professional add-on, demonstrating internal fluid flow simulation, texture mapping (branding) and transparency.

Boolean Operations

Boolean Operations

Boolean operations performed on a cube and sphere. Left to right: unite, intersect and subtract.

Continuum-Boundary Relationships

Continuum-Boundary Relationships

Continuum (blue) and boundary (green) relationships for (left to right) a cylinder (a volume is defined by its boundaries), a rectangle and a straight line.

3D Branded Composite

3D Branded Composite

Shown is a 3D composite image with plots textured mapped onto geometry faces. The geometry and scene were created using our Caedium Professional add-on and then rendered in POV-Ray.

The lift and drag plots have no relation to the wheel.

Age Quietly?

Age Quietly?

Alias/Wavefront models in a gangster scene created using our Professional add-on for Caedium. Sneak peek at our faceted import – to appear in the next release of our Exchange add-on. Rendered in POV-Ray.

Microfluidic Valve

Microfluidic Valve

This image shows an idealized microfluidic valve with a lower (blue) fluid flow channel separated by a silicone rubber membrane from an upper (red) valve channel. When the upper valve channel is pressurized the membrane deflects into the lower channel and blocks the fluid flow.

Curve Ball

Curve Ball

This image, rendered in POV-Ray, shows ideal-air-flow velocity vectors and transparent pressure-coefficient contours on a moving, rotating ball. Our Caedium Panel Flow add-on performed the simulation from which this image was created. This image is used in Curve Ball Aerodynamics.

Racing-Car Rear Diffusers

Racing-Car Rear Diffusers

Racing-car rear diffusers, also known as underbody tunnels or venturis, rendered in POV-Ray. Image shows pressure coefficient contours where red is high and blue is low.
