Assumptions

  • You have downloaded and installed Caedium.

Procedure

  1. Start Caedium and do one of the following to obtain a 3D model in the View Window:
    • Read a .sym file into Caedium using File->Open.
    • Import a BRep, STEP, or IGES file into Caedium (e.g., download our open wheel racecar) using File->Import.
    • If you have either the Builder or Professional add-ons, use the geometry creation tools to create a 3D model.
  2. Right-click on the background (not on the geometry) of the View Window.
  3. Double-click sim in the Select dialog and then select Properties.
  4. In the Properties Panel, select Red Blue from the Stereo 3D option, and then click anywhere in the View Window to reveal an anaglyph 3D red/blue interactive image.

To export the anaglyph as an image, such as a JPEG, use the File->Export dialog.
